Excellent séjour L’appartement était parfait et la communication avec Jonathan et son équipe était très bien
Great place to stay. Convenient to the Kotel and a short walk to the shuk. Amazing apartment, when visiting will likely stay here again of available!
Rarely do we find an item that perfectly matches the seller's description. However, in this case, the listing was spot-on—accurate and truthful, with excellent communication from the host. I cannot imagine finding a more ideal or centrally positioned place in Jerusalem. The neighborhood is exceptionally pedestrian-friendly, putting you within a short walk from all desired destinations. It's also very secure. We made an excellent decision and eagerly anticipate coming back.
The Downtown Triangle, situated to the immediate south of the residential building, is the iconic commercial and entertainment centerpiece district of Jerusalem. It is bordered by bustling Jaffa Street on its northeast side, historic King George Street to the northwest, and the pedestrian-friendly Ben Yehuda Street on its south side. Purchased from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate by the Jewish Colonization Association after World War I, the Triangle is closely associated with events leading up to Israel's founding. The Triangle's eastern vertice, Zion Square, began its life as Jerusalem's cultural center, being the location of the city's first cinema. Nowadays, it is renowned for its trendy cafés and street performers. Within walking distance to the west, you will find the Nachlaot cluster of quaint 19th-century courtyard neighborhoods, along with the adjacent Mahane Yehuda Market. The Israeli Knesset was seated in Frumin House at 24 King George Street for 16 years, before moving to its present location in Givat Ram. Just to the east is the offbeat Nahalat Shiv'a quarter and the Russian Compound, home to the Museum of Underground Prisoners. And don't forget to check out Ticho House and Tabor House, two historic landmarks that are right around the corner.
The apartment is situated in a very walkable part of the city, and that is by far the best way to take advantage of what the Triangle district has to offer. That being said, having a car will definitely increase your range, and you can make use of the reserved space in the parking garage. If you are not using a car, the Jerusalem Light Rail is just steps away on Jaffa Street. It offers easy access to the the Old City on one side, or the Central Bus Station and the adjacent Tel Aviv-Jerusalem railway on the other. There are also city bus stops one block away at Ha-Nevi'im Street corner of Monbaz Street, and at King George Street corner of Jaffa Street. Download the Moovit app for detailed public transit information and directions. You can find shuttle service to Tel Aviv across Monbaz Street from the bus stop. And remember, that you can always hail a taxi on Ha-Nevi'im Street, especially through a phone app such as Uber or Gett.
自我介绍
I am a New York City born and raised millennial who is passionate about hospitality in Jerusalem. My Jerusalem-born dad could recall hearing the King David Hotel bombing as it happened in 1946. He later had a hand in upgrading that iconic edifice, through his work there as a master electrician. To make ends meet during those austere times, he embarked on a second career as a Jerusalem taxi owner-operator, where he had the opportunity to meet interesting personalities, such as banker and Holyland Hotel proprietor Hans Kroch, and actor Paul Newman, the latter during the filming of the movie Exodus in 1960. Subsequently, he together with my mother followed her parents to the United States, where the family worked together in the home design and hospitality industries for many years. Since then, I have taken a page out of my family's history, and begun to write a chapter in it of my own. When you stay in any one of our properties, you will not only be experiencing Jerusalem from a local perspective, but also benefit from the superior service, thoughtful amenities and design touches that only Americans and Westerners can provide. It is our hope that you and your family & friends get to enjoy all that this ancient yet wonderfully modern city has to offer, so that it might add beauty and meaning to your own lives the same way it always has for ours.
