Hanging Langford is a hamlet within the parish of Steeple Langford in Wiltshire, England. It is located around one and a half miles south of Steeple Langford. It is probably best known as the home to Langford Lakes Nature Reserve, an ideal place for bird-watching. The four lakes and wet scrape provide a vital stopping-off point and resident habitat for about 150 bird species.

The Village of Wylye is only 1.7 miles from Hanging Langford and there you can find the Wylye Shop and Post Office and the Bell Inn.

Wilton
The nearest town for amenities is Wilton. Wilton is a lovely little town, with a rich heritage dating back to the Anglo-Saxons. It lies about 3 miles west of the city of Salisbury, and until 1889 was the county town of Wiltshire.
Wilton is home to a small number of shops including the butchers, florists, bakery, hardware store, convenience stores, cafe's and takeaways.
