Fantastic cabin just minutes to nearby Glacier National Park. Come enjoy the peaceful views and our waterfall. This cabin has great mountain views in one direction and the plains in the other, situated right in the foothills of the Rockies. You can arrive at the Two Medicine entrance of Glacier National Park in just 10 minutes. Come unwind with us! We also have another cabin for rent just up the road in case you have a larger party or event and are looking for a bit more space. This cozy cabin is truly wonderful year round. In the warmer months, hike in Glacier National Park or the Badger, bike the iconic Going-to-the-Sun road and more, kayak in Two Medicine or other nearby lakes, or sip a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the mountains. In the winter months, cook and bake in the kitchen, do puzzles, take naps in the extremely comfy beds, go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing on the nearby trails, backcountry ski, head over to Whitefish for resort skiing, and enjoy the aurora borealis and star gazing. Come use our speedy Starlink wifi to work remotely for the week in a beautiful wonderland. The cabin is about 1/4 mile off of Highway 2, accessed via a gravel road, and only 1 mile to East Glacier Park! Living Room: You enter the cabin into a room with cathedral ceilings, with the living room on your left and kitchen on your right. The living room is very cozy with a futon couch and two lounge chairs, the perfect spot to watch for wildlife, admire Calf Robe mountain, work on a puzzle, listen to music on the JBL speaker or read a book. We also provide yoga mats and a foam roller for a good stretch after a long day in the mountains. ✔ JBL Bluetooth Speaker ✔ Books ✔ Games ✔ Futon couch ✔ Wifi ✔ Yoga mats and foam roller The Kitchen: The kitchen has a toaster, microwave, tea kettle, oven/stove, full size refrigerator (with freezer), and is stocked with organic, locally roasted coffee, coffee grinder, a drip coffee machine, and a French press. We also stock loose leaf tea. Plenty of pots and pans, baking sheets, etc. You should have all of the essentials and more to help make you feel at home. ✔ Locally roasted coffee and looseleaf tea ✔ Coffee grinder ✔ Drip coffee machine ✔ French Press for tea/coffee ✔ Microwave ✔ Kettle ✔ Pots, pans and baking sheets ✔ Refrigerator and freezer ✔ Stove top range and oven Bedrooms: Halfway across the cabin, there is a loft accessible via ladder, with four camp-style twin beds, ample room for activities such as yoga, and a great additional hang out space. The window opens toward the babbling brook for great sleep music. Under the loft is the master bedroom, with wonderful mountain, canyon, and sky views and a full bathroom. ✔ Queen size bed in private room ✔ View of Calf Robe mountain from the bedroom ✔ Down comforter and blankets for layered comfort ✔ Loft with 4 twin beds ✔ Spacious area in loft for exercise ✔ Fan and thermostat controlled heat plus a space heater for climate comfort Outdoor Space: The property has a gorgeous 40 foot waterfall on it, accessible for viewing from above, or with a very steep walk down to the pool at its base. Locals frequently stop to take a look, especially in spring when it is raging, and we now share the falls with a neighbor as well. The cabin is about 100 yards further down the road. The outdoor space is shared with other guests as well. All sorts of wildlife have been seen from the windows, wildflowers abound in spring, and serviceberries can be picked right outside the door in late summer. Bears (we provide bear spray!), deer, coyotes, and a diverse array of birds are abundant, making this a hiking and wildlife lover's paradise. The cabin is only 2 miles from the park as a crow flies, and just 3 from the nearest trailhead, and one of our favorite hikes. We are about 1 mile from East Glacier Park and its shops, restaurants, Amtrak station, and lodge, the gateway to the gorgeous and quiet Two Medicine region of the park. Take a 45 minute drive to Saint Mary to check out the east entrance of the renowned Going-To-The-Sun road. Or continue on another 30 minutes to the Many Glacier Hotel. Plus, we are only 75 minutes from the Glacier Intl Airport. The Canadian border is just shy of an hour away, making this a great place to stop on your way up to Banff or Calgary! ✔ Easy access to Glacier National Park and Lewis and Clark Ntl Forest, Bob Marshall Wilderness, Badger, Blackfeet Reservation, etc ✔ Amazing wildlife sighting ✔ 40ft waterfall ✔ Swimming hole access ✔ Summer: Great fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking and biking ✔ Winter: Hunting, snowshoeing, (xc, backcountry, downhill) skiing, hiking ✔ Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) ✔ Clear sky, incredible (shooting) stars ✔ Private outdoor seating area General Information: We have very spotty cell phone reception on the property but we do have Starlink internet. Calls and texts can be made while connected to wifi. There is no TV in our cabin, we have found that our guests love to unplug and have an adventure! Fishing in the local area is tremendous, access to Glacier, the Lewis and Clark National Forest, and tribal lands is unparalleled from here- it is our ideal location. We also have another cabin for rent just down the road with terrific mountain views in case you have a larger party or event and are looking for a bit more space- ask us about booking both! I have been teaching yoga for about 10 years and love to offer private yoga classes or cacao ceremonies upon request. Please message me if you are interested and we can talk through details. Public yoga classes are held every Monday night at the Community Center from 5:15-6:15pm. We offer different packages for special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, elopements, holidays, etc). If you are interested, please reach out and we can chat more! ✔ Starlink Wifi ✔ Other cabins for rent ✔ Yoga classes or cacao ceremonies ✔ Local massage therapist ✔ Packages for special occasions Notes on seasonal animals/insects: Bears are frequent visitors to the property. They are most active in early spring and late summer/fall, but they are seen on the property throughout the summer. Please be alert, keep all food and food containers inside, and carry bear spray. There are also wolf, moose, coyote, cow, and other wild animals that roam. As far as insects go, spring is a popular time for mosquitos. Bring layers and bug spray. They mostly choose to hang out around dusk/dawn, so we try to stay inside during those times. August-September is prime moth season around here. Bears can eat up to ~20,000 per day, so we try to live with them rather than against them. They can sneak into the cabin occasionally, but they are harmless. September-October is black fly season. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to reach out! **In April, once the ground thaws, we will be building a yurt near our other cabin, Peaceful Cabin. We anticipate it being complete by May-June, but will update the listing accordingly. We aim to build when guests are gone for the day in efforts to be the least disruptive.
It was a great place to stay. It's clean and has all that you need. I'd stay again for sure if I visit the area again.
What a wonderful place to stay. Just as described. Clean, clean, clean! All of the kitchenware, towels, utensils, bedding, etc...appeared brand new and quality. Cabin was very tastefully decorated and big windows allowed a ton of light and views. I only stayed for one brief night but well worth the money. Personalized note welcoming you and the goodies were a nice touch. They do a great job making you feel welcomed! Great communication too. My only suggestion is to add some outside furniture besides just a picnic table. But overall I highly recommend!
Devin was wonderful to talk to and quickly helped me rebook after the first owner sold the property to her. She responded quick and kindly. The cabin was clean. The cabin is very close to two medicine and is an hour and 20 minutes from the many glacier entrance. I do not feel that the cabin was worth the price. In the pictures for the description there were two full size beds, however upon arriving there was only one. There is one full size mattress and four floor mattresses in the loft. Devin provided bear mace and a pair of binoculars that came in handy.
What a fantastic little cabin to explore Glacier National Park! Everything is as described, the waterfall is amazing if you can make it down the hill, and Devin’s communication from start to finish was superb! Thank you again for letting us rent your amazing little cozy cabin! We hope to return again to create even more amazing memories! Cheers!
Absolutely loved our stay, house was roomy and efficient stocked with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and area is peaceful we slept extremely well! Was very warm this week all we needed was to open the windows and a refreshing breeze kept us comfortable and cool! Devin was very responsive and informative. We had such a wonderful trip we will be back and definitely would stay here again!
There is an Amtrak station right in town, less than two miles from the property. There are only a few car rentals in town, and can be booked using Turo. There is plenty of parking in town. If you want to go into the park, you will need a reservation. You can visit the park website to learn more.

Jackie & I are the hosts at Jade Wilderness, which includes two newly built, nature inspired cabins. I am originally from PA and Jackie, KY, but we moved to MT (from UT) in 2023 with our two rescue pups. We met thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2018 and have been adventuring together ever since. We love where we live and all it has to offer. We hope we can provide you with a quaint retreat & a gateway to adventure here in East Glacier.
