Escape to a serene rural retreat in Ruby Bay, Tasman region. This contemporary luxury house offers ample space and stunning views of Tasman Bay and views across to Nelson City & Rabbit Island. The property boasts two spacious suites, suitable for adults only, each with private entrances, balconies, and en-suite bathrooms. Explore the landscaped gardens with walkways, ponds, and an outdoor fire-pit. This idyllic haven is the perfect base to discover the activities of the Nelson Abel Tasman area. Renting at Casa Ruby gives you access to a private area with two bedrooms with full en suite bathrooms as well as a kitchenette area (oven, mini fridge, sink). Each bedroom has one Queen size bed, is large and airy with their own entrance, a Television including a private balcony with a table & chairs. You'll also have access to shared indoor spaces including a sitting room and dining area. Shared outdoor spaces include our large outdoor balcony with sweeping views, as well as a seating area with a private fire pit & dining table above the house amongst the fruit trees & garden.

Libby and Graham were fantastic hosts. They gave us ideas for places to eat and things to do and there was even fresh baking in the kitchen at the day!
I chose libbys place as i needed somewhere for me and my parent's to use as we explored tasman. We had two bedrooms with ensuite facilities and use of a kitchen area and living area. Location is quiet and amenities were outstanding and breakfast was included. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly and are very well traveled and knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend you stay here.
Libby is a very caring host. We enjoyed our time. The shower with garden view was a highlight!
We had a wonderful, pleasant stay (unfortunately only for two nights) in a very beautiful and clean house with lots of space inside and nice decks in a quiet and great area. We were glad to had a yummy breakfast. Particularly we liked the very comfortably beds, big and lightful bathrooms and the really nice welcome and conversations from the hosts. We immediately felt comfortable and at home. Five and more stars for this accommodation. Gladly again.
We had an amazing stay at Libby and Graham’s house! Beautiful views and super clean rooms. The Dutch flag hung out when we arrived and we felt welcome right away. Libby and Graham are so friendly and it’s very nice to have the small talks with them. Would definitely recommend this stay!

Our neighbourhood is rich with amazing things to do, see and adventure around. We are in one of New Zealands premier wine growing regions, with over 10 Vineyards within a 20 minute drive, such as Seifried Estate, Neudorf Vineyards, Kahurangi Estate, Waimea Estate - ask us about our favourites.
For those that enjoy exploring on two wheels, we are on the doorstep of Tasman's Great Taste Trail, Ask us about our recommended Bike rental location down in Mapua Village and for a copy of the Trail map.
We are a five minute drive from the quant seaside village of Mapua, which boasts wonderful restaurants, cafe's, and artist enclaves.
Casa Ruby is also a 30 minute drive (30km) to the golden sands of Kaiteriteri beach (one of the worlds best) and another 10 minute drive to the Jewel of the South, Abel Tasman National Park, where you can explore by foot, boat or Kayak.
A car is essential as we live in a rural area, but local facilities ( Restaurants & retail shops) can be reached by bicycle via trails.
