Enjoy sunny days, beautiful sunsets, and warm bonfires at this cozy, newly renovated cottage on Elk Lake. Fish year round or enjoy the many recreational trails nearby. After a day of kayaking, swimming, or paddle boarding, walk one lot over to the Elk Lake Bar - a local favorite for dinner and drinks. They often have live music on the weekends to enjoy as well. Located between West Branch and Gladwin you’ll find dining options, groceries, golf courses and local shops. Life is better at the lake! Our cozy cottage has been completely renovated and is the perfect size for a family. Please note that due to elevated parking our property is not wheelchair accessible. There are 4 stairs leading down to the entrance. Also, we welcome little ones but want parents to be aware that while there is a shower there is no bathtub. Elk Lake is great for pontooning, kayaking and paddle boarding. The bottom of the lake is soft by our cottage so swimming is best out a little ways. It gets deep very quickly once you’re past the dock. We have a swimming platform past the dock that the kids have a lot of fun jumping off and playing on. The water is 10-12 feet deep at the swimming platform and almost 50 feet deep just a little further out. Lake activities are at your own risk and the use of appropriately sized life vests is highly recommended (and required by law to be worn for those under 14 and available for those over 14 when on a boat or paddle board).
