The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located cottage in the heart of Cessnock, a short walk from every convenience. A spacious 3 bedroom cottage, equipped with a large master bedroom with ample space for a port-a-cot, ensuite, newly refurbished bathroom with luxurious bath tub, cozy living areas, fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor dining area. There is also a futon to accomodate an extra guest. Follow us on ig @_ramblersrest R A M B L E R S R E S T The property has 3 bedrooms all with ceiling fans and the 2 main bedrooms have ducted air-conditioning and block out shutters. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with an ensuite and walk-in-robe attached. It also has bi-fold doors out on to the wrap around deck, with seating areas. Bedroom 2 has a Queen sized bed with built-in wardrobe. Bedroom 3 has 2 King single's with a large exterior window looking out on to the side terrace. The lounge room has a large sofa and TV, also a combustible fire place (fire place is not be used under any circumstances). In the middle of the house there is a seating room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities and a timeless 3 compartment oven. The dining room has a 6 seater dining table. Main bathroom has a luxurious bath tub and dual shower. There is also a dedicated office space. Laundry has a washing machine and dryer. The back yard has a deck with table and chairs. The house is old and full of character, but she's unique and well loved. Ramblers Rest is in the perfect location for exploring everything the Hunter Valley has to offer.

Lovely restored cottage at the heart of Cessnock. Tastefully decorated and very spacious for our family of six. Would come back and stay here again in a heartbeat.
We absolutely loved staying with Lauren. The place felt so specious, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Pleasantly surprised that it was even nicer than the pictures :) Walking distance to lots of take away/ shops/ pub. Lauren is very responsive with her messages and was always available to help if ever needed.. Would stay here again in a heartbeat 💗
It’s was a great place to stay with family. The decorations are very charming showing the taste from the host. Once you step inside the cottage it felt like travel back in time, and great experience where the old world meet the new world. Hunter Valley has a lot to offer, we recommend to stay a few more nights at this magical house.
This is a beautiful old home that has been well restored in central Cessnock. Easy walk to everything and a short drive to the vineyards and concert venues The home is lovely, great spaces and very well decorated. We felt very very comfortable and really enjoyed hanging out in the space. The bedrooms were a great size and the renovated bathroom with the giant tub was so impressive. Will definitely stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautifully decorated and had a great kitchen and living space to enjoy cooking a nice dinner and relaxing with a bottle of wine after a day around the Hunter. The beds were really comfortable with lovely sheets. Being able to bring our dog along was a massive bonus! Lauren was responded quickly and was very sweet to leave us some Easter treats! Would definitely recommend and stay again.
