We booked this accommodation based on the great reviews. I messaged the host once I booked online telling him we were 2 people, he never replied, which I didn't mind at the moment. 2 days before we were supposed to arrive I started messaging him, since there is no clear instructions on the listing on how to get there, and it also says he was supposed to greet us. I never got a response from him on airbnb, so I was forced to download Whats App the same day we were supposed to arrive. I messaged him early for the address on Whats App (since I wasn't getting a response on the airbnb app for 2 days already) but still there was no answer from him. I ended up having to contact customer service that morning and they tried contacting him multiple times with no success. Thankfully airbnb gave me a refund and we were able to book a different place. The host finally communicated a around 11am the day we were supposed to get there, just a couple of hours before we were supposed to check in.

The cabin has everything you need for a short stay. It's in a remote location and surrounded by true Costa Rican nature. Andres is very friendly and responsive. He gave us very good recommendations for things to do around the area. A few meters from the cabin you can find “Casa Sury” where you can have authentic homemade food prepared by Yami. If I have the chance I will book this Airbnb again.

El entorno donde se encuentra el alojamiento es hermoso. Es sencillo pero acogedor, las respuestas son rápidas y son muy atentos. Para llegar al lugar si es importante tener un carro 4x4, las calles son de lastre pero estan en buen estado, sin embargo si es un camino pesado por las pendientes pronunciadas que tiene.

Disfrutamos muchísimo empezar el año nuevo acá, es realmente silencioso y tiene una paisaje increíble. De noche las estrellas fueron un espectáculo y por supuesto, nada de pólvora para recibir el año, lo cual mi perrita amó. El lugar es muy tranquilo, es un pueblo pequeño y una vez que uno lo pasa, llega rápido a la cabaña. Las instrucciones para llegar son muy claras, con un video incluído y todo. Algo que no vi mencionado y me pareció un plus fue la comida del restaurante de la tía de Andrés, deliciosa de veras. De verdad fue lo que deseaba y Andrés y su tía muy amables, contestaron las dudas que teníamos.
