The house of Anne is a super cute and tastefully decorated home away from home. Anne and local Zahira are super sweet and Anne responded immediately to our questions. We knew there would be cats around, which we love, but keep in mind it are 3-4 cats; you hear, see and smell them (though the house is very clean!) The cats are very sweet, welcoming and clearly used to human interaction which to us was lovely. Azemmour is a super authentic village. there are little restaurants and during Ramadan (the time we visited) there are actually none. The house is right at an entrance of the Medina. During Ramadan (I assume) that meant hearing the vibrant nightly sounds. The house is near the sea (30 min walk), the river, the train station and therefore a nice place to stay when you fly on or from Casablanca airport.

We stayed at Anne's place for four nights before leaving Morocco from Casablanca airport (which can be reached easily by train or Grand Taxi). The house is truly beautiful and right in the medina - it couldn't be any more Moroccan. We were stunned by how cool the architecture allowed for the house to be albeit the blazing summer heat. When we were there, there was three rescue cats and a kitten living in the house and we got along nicely. What was surely best about Anne's place though was Anne herself. A great host! She sent us very precise instructions on how to find the house and gave us tips on what to do and where to go. She was just a message away to which she always responded immediately. And Karima who let us into the house and looks after the cats was also always available for any questions and needs we might have had. We felt truly welcomed!

Anne a su décorer son intérieur avec goût et cela est très agréable. Comme elle nous l'a préciser plusieurs fois, il faut pouvoir cohabiter avec les chats. Karima est très gentille et disponible.

Anne is a fantastic host and human. We had a great time here. Such a beautiful and lovely home, to humans and cats :) Hope to come visit here real soon again.
