Cabane sympathique, calme et jolie vue sur l'île. Séjour très agréable. Très bien accueilli et raccompagné par Hans. Possibilité de prévoir des excursions ou louer un moyen de locomotion, ce qui facilite le trajet de 20 à 30 minutes à pied pour rejoindre le centre.

Vai is a friendly host. The place is very basic and the price is fair. Being in a cabaña surrounded by nature was nice, however, I have to point out that there were dogs that bark fairly constantly throughout the night, it can cause issues when trying to get some sleep. It gets hot inside as well, keeping the windows open during the day helps, but mosquitos do find their way inside the Airbnb. The internet connection was non existent for the first day and a half. After that, the issue was fixed. It is in somewhat of a remote area, so it requires quite a bit of walking to get to the center of town. It is located closed to the airport, though, which is a plus! Overall it is a good stay for the economical price. Vai was always friendly and responsive to my messages! A more reliable internet connection, screens on the windows to keep mosquitos out, and keeping dogs from constantly barking at night, are the only areas of improvement. If you are a deep sleeper, this place will do fine!

A wonderful place! A bit out of the main village but an easy walk to that village. And ….. Take her as a guide to the sites (you are obliged to have a guide around Rapa Nui). But you have to speak and understand Spanish with her. If that’s the case …. A wonderful person to be around

This place was perfect for what I was looking for at the right price point. The room can get very hot during day time. But at night with windows open, it’s perfect. Its 20 min walk from airport (3 minute drive). It’s located in a field of grass. So if you like being in nature and laying on grass, it’s perfect. A few thing to keep in mind to make your stay more pleasant. I wasn’t able to connect to WiFi, so make sure you have a SIM card for ental before you fly in to Easter Island. My sim worked perfectly in my room. So not connecting to wifi was not an issue. Also make sure to communicate with them when you are arriving and who is picking you up, so you don’t miss each other. If you do, just send them a message and they will be there quick.

This cottage is located in a peaceful area, where you can hills and nature. Vai and Cristian are amazing hosts, they give a lot of information about local tips and activities that are taking place. Beside that they also offer tours to be paid separately but are really worthy to discover the island, they show also spots, where other tours don’t go. You have to consider, that you will be 25 minutes walking to the main town (Hanga Roa). Vai also can rent a bike. I missed having more days to stay there and I recommend people to stay at this place.
