This beautifully contemporary, yet characterful home is located in the popular suburb of Fulford, less than one mile from the City Centre which can be easily reached on foot or bicycle via the pleasant riverside esplanade. With a variety of commuter links close by, the property is well placed for York Railway Station and travel further afield. An ideal base for families, couples, friends and individuals visiting for business or pleasure. The Olive Branch is a two-bed period Victorian terrace set in the historical city of York. It offers a quiet and intimate setting for a city retreat and an ideal location to explore the many city attractions. Our calming and neutral interior combines pared back style with honest creature comforts. Each characterful room retains many of its original features and has been individually designed with thoughtful touches to create a warm space that invites you to relax and unwind.

A brilliant place to stay and Olivia was a great host, quick to respond and very helpful. York is an amazing place and it’s a lovely walk along the river to the city centre
Everything is as pictured. Very clean with a big kitchen full of amenities. It’s a great location in York - the end of street leads down to the river which is a really picturesque way to walk the 20 minutes into the city. It was cosy, but that was fine for two adults and our small children.
We had a fantastic time at the Olive Branch! It was spotlessly clean. It has a lovely feel. Great location near the river. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in York! We would definitely book again.
Olivia was proactively helpful and responsive to any questions we had and her property was simply lovely. Calming neutral decor and the breakfast of tea coffee milk and rustic loaf was a most welcome additional touch. Inside the house was beautifully new, clean and in a perfect location with a 20 minute riverside walk into the bustling city centre and yet super quiet. Would definitely recommend.

The Olive Branch is ideally situated in one of Yorks most sought after locations outside the city's historic walls. Positioned just a brief walk (15 minutes) into town alongside the River Ouse which offers a gentle, peaceful and scenic stroll into the city centre.
Local landmarks include Millennium Bridge, Rowntree's Park set over 20 acres and York Racecourse.
We are also conveniently located close to Bishopthorpe Road, winner of the Great British High Street of the Year 2015. Affectionately known by locals as 'Bishy Road' for short, this quirky little corner of York has been serving the community for over one hundred years and boasts a cosy parade of independent shops and eateries waiting to give you a warm Yorkshire welcome.
As well as an excellent cycle network, there is also a regular bus service and York's mainline railway station, 1.3 miles away can be accessed for express services to major cities including London, Edinburgh and Manchester.
We are also easily accessed by car from all of York's approach roads which connect conveniently to the UK Motorway network.
