The well-preserved Electoral Castle, which was built in the 14th century, is an impressive landmark and offers a breathtaking view of the Rhine and the surrounding region.
A particular highlight of Eltville are the rose gardens, which have given the town its affectionate nickname. The rose garden in the Electoral Palace delights visitors with a variety of rose species that create a colorful and fragrant backdrop. In the summer months, the city literally blossoms in a sea of rose fragrance.
