We had a wonderful month at Susana’s beautiful home. We had everything we needed and more, I didn’t want to leave! Stylish decor, well equipped kitchen and screened porch where we took all our meals. Lots of games and interesting books. Chatham is charming and the surrounding area stunning and peaceful, and rich in the arts and history. We’d love to return!

This is a great place in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and a charming nearby town. We found the spacious backyard area, and very well-accommodated house a wonderful respite from our apt in Manhattan. This is a great place for a family, and we spent a lot of quality time there. (We have seven year old twins.) All the essentials are close by, but the house is on a peaceful stretch right near a tennis court. We found a tennis instructor and had lessons at the nearby high school, and the house generally is not too far from many attractions - we took some nice day trips to a farm, Stockton, Crab Apple Rafting in Massachusetts, and Jiminy Peak. Other than also in Chatham, there's also a number of good bakeries in nearby towns Ghent and Valatie. The hosts were extremely courteous and responsive to anything that came up. There was even a ping pong table and treadmill in the basement. We would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend this place!

We loved our time at Susana and Jon's house! It's a warm, inviting, very comfortable family home, with a beautiful backyard (complete with regular sightings of young deer), a terrific kitchen and outdoor grilling/eating area, and a screened-in porch with rocking chairs that was great for morning coffee and reading. The house is just a short, pretty walk into the town of Chatham, which we really love, and the neighborhood is quiet but not remote. Wonderful for a charming, comfortable, quiet summer getaway in upstate NY. Close to plenty of towns and possible day trips.
