We booked Mish’s cabin for a girls trip and we loved it. It was clean, cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Very lovely location which was the perfect getaway for my friend and I. Despite the railroad nearby, the train sounds did not disturb the peace. The beds were comfortable, although the smaller room did not have much space for anything else. The kitchen was well stocked, with quality pans/pots and knives which made cooking enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was no recycling which my friend and I found unsatisfactory. There were a few windows in the kitchen and living room that lacked curtains, as well as no blackout curtains in the bigger bedroom. The yard was a bit unkept, but the overgrowth didn’t take away much from our experience. With a few easy improvements, I would stay again!

I’ll start by saying I never write negative reviews. If you need to be in Gold Bar for something specific, this wouldn’t necessarily be a bad choice. But I would not return and was disappointed. There were some issues regarding cleanliness and security, but the biggest issue was false advertising. The false advertising is in regard to this home being river front/access. It is neither. It wasn’t until after we could no longer cancel the host informed us the neighbors are “protective” of river access & you should instead go on a 10 minute walk to the river. A bummer, but we like exploring so we went. The walk brings you to a river bank with homes along it, all covered with private property signs & impassable blackberry bushes. Free time is rare for most, and there are a ton of air bnbs in Gold Bar. We made the most of a disappointing situation, but I wish we had chosen another place.

Beautiful little spot tucked away from everything. The hot tub was super relaxing after hiking all day. We enjoyed checking out a tiny town nearby for dinner and coffee :)

This was a very lovely place! It was very nice to have the hot tub in the rain! Lots of hiking nearby. We found it hard to get the house heated up and it was quite cold when we arrived. It would also benefit from a bit more cleaning, under the bed was quite dusty/dirty for example. But otherwise lovely stay. Mish was very responsive and happy to help.
