The apartment was beautiful and I loved all the windows! The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. If you are a coffee drinker like me, bring Nescafé pods - there are no other coffee making devices. I loved how walkable everything was - with a little supermarket near by, 5 mins to the beach, and 5 mins to the ferry to Setúbal! We really enjoyed it and look forward to coming back!

Joâo’s apartment is a very spacious, well appointed, very clean and peaceful space. Fitted with quality linen and a perfectly equipped kitchen. The apartment’s surroundings are both convenient (supermarket below the unit) tranquil and beautiful, a very short walk from the beach, the marina and great trails. We took on Joâo’s suggestions and loved our time in Troia. He was a super host through and through.

João's appartement is very luxurious, like a super comfortable hotel for a family of 4. We stayed at his place for 6 days, slept great and visited the beautiful beach every day. Troia is a bit upscale tourism, so prices are different from the rest of Portugal, but if you can afford it it is wonderfull. The appartement is on a small block of appartments with foodtrucks and supermercado (fresh bread every morning!) just downstairs. Take a boat to see the dolphins in the bay, our kids (9 and 13) loved it. The appartment is ultra clean, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen with all supplies to cook. Also nice: cross the river to Sétubal, for some great more traditional Portuguese food and scenery. The kids also used the swimming pool in the appartment next to ours. And we loved the frango at the Brazilian grill close by. We did not meet João, but texted and spoke on the phone once (I did not understand the airco ;) He is super nice, helpful and replies immediately! AANRADER!!!
