This is a very nice apartment in a great location. It is larger and more comfortable than the pictures indicate. There is one big issue with it and that is the lack of wifi (shown on the listing as an amenity). For us that was a huge inconvenience as we rely on secure wifi when travelling to be able to monitor our bank accounts, book tours and accommodations online, etc, without having to pay for a lot more data on my phone. We spoke to the host about either changing the amenities list to reflect that there is no wifi or providing it as advertised. There is open wifi available nearby. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay - close to many restaurants, shops, the ferry to Fort de France, all within a five minute walk. The apartment feels secure, there are mechanized shutters that close off the balcony and bedroom windows at night and double locks on the door. The area is very safe, vibrant and busy. There is a great little beach a two minute walk away and a small grocery next door. The kitchen is well equipped although with so many great restaurants around we didn’t do any cooking. There is A/C in the bedroom and a comfortable bed. The bathroom is small but has a great shower. All in all, I would recommend the apartment.

very nice appartment in the heart of Pointe du bout. Location couldn't be any better (restaurants, chemist, convenience store...). easy communication in English and French. It is ideal for a couple. I would definitely come back.
