The rustic timber cabin is an 18 sq metre studio, with a comfortable Queen bed at one end and couch, kitchenette and bar dining the other. Sliding glass doors open on to the deck with a glorious view of the bay, BBQ and outdoor dining. Outdoor shower, and ecofriendly composting toilet make your stay a Waiheke glamping experience. Drive to local wineries for lunch or dinner, or pop down to Sandy Bay minutes walk away, for a change of scenery.

Beautiful place that’s different from the normal in the best ways possible a highlight is the outdoor shower and views from inside, the place is set up in a way where it is very easy to feel relaxed and peaceful.
My partner and I discovered a rare gem on Airbnb, blending sustainability with comfort in a tranquil setting. The place was immaculate, boasting eco-friendly practices that impressed us deeply. The view was a constant delight, enhanced by the proximity to Little Palm Beach. Our host, Charlotte, was responsive and hospitable, making our stay exceptional. It's a rare find that we highly recommend for a memorable retreat. Bonus: The doggos are really friendly!
A lovely retreat from the centre of Christchurch. Perfect for a relaxing stay. Felt totally at home and slept really well in a comfy bed. Super clean and tidy. Would stay again.

Enjoy the regenerating native bush tracks of MacKenzie reserve beginning a 5 minute walk away. On the popular northern side, Enclosure Bay is a delightful swimming bay, when the tide is full to half way in. If the tide is out you can walk around the rocks to swim at the next bay, or down the road a few minutes walk to Sandy bay. Complimentary use of a tandem kayak available for you to explore the coast line. Byo snorkeling gear. We provide beach towels, and bath towels.
You can park at the bottom of the section. Walk up the path of about 80 metres. You can drive 10-15 minutes to nearby Waiheke wineries such as Casita Miro, Mudbrick, the restaurants of Oneroa inculding the Oyster Inn, Fenice, visit the nearby Palm Beach restaurant of Arcadia, or the Local brewery the Heke. The local bus stop is at Popes corner, where you can walk down through Mackenzie reserve, about 10 minutes.
