We stayed here in order to visit Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park. It was perfect! It was very cozy, easy to access, and a steal. April was a great host, and the instructions for entry and using various appliances (thermostat, tv) were very clear. I really appreciated the locking system for the front door. The pecan tree put back is beautiful. And a very nice perk was the Blue House a block away—it opened at 6am, and was a great way to start the day. Just wish we‘d had more time to stay there longer!

Great older charming house on street with local businesses. Can walk to local grocery store or bakery & cafe. Perfect location for using as base to go to the nearby National Parks. House was very comfortable and had everything we needed for 4 days. Host answered our questions and was able to get in touch with the City to confirm when there was a water main leak down the street to let us know. If planning a trip near Carlsbad, nice play to stay and would recommend it.
