Clovis runs a great little hotel/bar/resto right in the Youpwé fish district of Bonapriso, Douala, about 10 min from Douala international airport and a few blocks in from one of the estuaries of the Wouri River. It’s a new hotel with seven rooms with double beds, and a one-bedroom apartment with kitchen. The room I had was clean and simply furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chair. new well-functioning air conditioner and cable TV. The bathroom is fine, with a shower (no hot water) and back up water bucket. The staff are very friendly, and there is a bar with music on the ground level. The place hops! The hotel owner lives on site and is ready to help guests find transport and enjoy Douala. He speaks French, English and Sango. I will definitely make this my home in Douala!

Stay was comfortable and the host was indeed very warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed my stay there though the location seemed a bit awkward and uncomfortable.
