We had a lovely, peaceful stay in the Gray Cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and our dog. The location is ideally situated to get to amenities in Hinton, hiking in Jasper and also feel like you're off the beaten track.

This is my third time staying here since New Years!! I absolutely cannot say enough about the setting. Beautiful view of the mountains and right on the river. Truly a blessing to have found this spot. Mary is great, and super friendly. The resident dog, Sol is just the sweetest. The hour or so drive to Jasper is gorgeous, so you can spend the day there and come back to your peaceful cabin for the night. Great for solo travel or couples! Already excited to make plans to go back soon. Highly recommend!

A beautiful and peaceful spot for our weekend getaway. Mary is a great host and the cabin was lovely. Definitely check out the beautiful hike up to mountain views that starts on the property!

Old Entrance is a great choice for a rustic getaway. It is serene and beautiful. There’s a nice hiking trail around the place with a good view. The cabin is cozy and has a cute retro fireplace. Mary and the helpers were nice and helpful. The only downside we found is that wifi/data service are on and off (it being in the mountains of course), so make sure to bring a book to read or board games. Overall, we would totally recommend this gem of a place
