This is an older house that has been extensively renovated and is quite up to date in the interior. The exterior, while presentable, doesn't show how good the interior is. Our destinations for this stay were Perry and Clinton lakes, both of which were within 15-20 minutes drive. We did have to call the host to ask where some supplies were, and there were some sheets left in the dryer when we arrived, but we got a quick and satisfactory response. Indeed she went out of her way to accommodate our wishes. I have some mobility challenges but am not disabled. There are no ramps, but the two steps to the front door are only about four inches high so not a problem for me. The driveway is not as even as a new concrete drive would be, but not a problem for most. We would, and possibly will, stay here again if our travels bring us to this area again.

a cute little place between Topeka and Lawrence. We enjoyed our stay very much.. my husband and son visited the museum next door and were personally escorted to the Methodist Church when they mentioned my husband's parents attended there years ago. we ate at the diner and I'd say it was good for what it was .a small town diner. There was one store to look thru and the park across the road was very well taken care of and clean. the only thing I'd suggest is trivial but would be helpful for families staying. I think the kitchen needs at least one full size baking sheet and a big pan. otherwise all was great

Exactly what we needed as we transitioned to a new home! Clean, inviting, comfortable. Host very responsive. The area is quiet but Topeka and Lawrence easily accessible for every need.

The house was the perfect size for what I needed and very clean. Loved the decor!
