House is really nice. However, booked due to location and the advertised private drive & EV charger. The driveway is shared, 1 car will fit sideways leaving no space for another. Arrived at 10pm Friday, driveway occupied so had to then go and find on-street parking place. The details provided state alternative parking in a carpark opposite but this is ANPR & camera controlled with a 2hour limit and £100 fine, NOT viable option. Took 25 mins to locate a suitable space a considerable walk away. This continued for the duration of our stay. Secondly there is NO EV charger. So after a 5 hour drive, followed by another 25 mins parking and no option to charge car, ended up in a supermarket carpark for an hour first thing the next morning and again on departure day. Finally, the phone number provided by the hosts pillow partners was not recognised so no way of contacting them – emailed them on arrival but got no reply. Cannot recommend if you have a car and especially if you have an EV.

Very spacious house on the main road through Carnforth. Parking is difficult at the property and we experienced a lot of noise from next door. Would have been nice if there was some shower gel in the bathrooms and a way to make coffee rather than just use instant. While the interior design is quite interesting it makes the property feel dark and uninviting. Internet coverage from the WiFi was unreliable which often led to delays and interruptions when watching tv.

Overall we were happy with the property and had a good time. Just a few niggles for us relating to bed arrangements and couldn't charge our EV as advertised etc. We're pretty easy to please guests so I wouldn't say it spoilt our stay and overall the property met our needs. Three nights cost £918 and we just felt some of these issues need to be addressed really. I can tell the owners are keen to be good hosts and have no doubt these things will be sorted. Thanks
