Sand Dollar Cottage is lovely; peaceful, clean, cozy and close to the ocean. The location is beautiful, and I had a wonderful time walking to the beach. It was a super-relaxing stay and I'm eager to return in the future.

Great place to stay to spend a few days at the beach with our dog. Loved the solitude of the country, but easy drive into any of the local towns nearby. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! I was coming straight from an exhausting work conference and Rusty & Angela's place proved to be exactly the recovery I needed. We walked down to the beach and explored the nearby communities. It was so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. It's a bit precarious to get down to the beach itself, just FYI but well worth it. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend Village Host Pizza (Aptos) and Beer Mule (Watsonville) if you're looking.

Our stay was awesome. The home is quiet and cozy and exactly as pictured. They location is amazing and literally walkable to a gorgeous private beach. We especially loved that we were able to take our dogs here and explore the area. Carmel is a 30 minute drive from here which was a huge bonus for us too. We had no issues whatsoever getting there and had no issues getting inside the home. The hosts were super helpful and gave us recommendations on what to do and where to eat. We would definitely be back.
