The Treehouse at the Rise Retreat You'll wake up to the sounds of songbirds at this cabin in the woods of Blairsville, a wonderful retreat for hikers, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Spend your days exploring the surrounding countryside, and your evenings unwinding on the deck in the fresh mountain air. This hillside home sits 11 miles south of downtown Blairsville, giving you easy access to the conveniences of town in a serene, rural setting. In this beautiful pocket of North Georgia, you'll be within a five-mile drive of Vogel State Park, the Appalachian Trail, Sosebee Cove Scenic Area, and DeSoto Falls Recreation Area. Descend a flight of exterior stairs to enter by way of the deck, a blissfully shady spot with a commanding view of the forest. Inside, the living space is all on one level, offering an open layout, classic wood-paneled walls, and a gas fireplace to warm you on chilly evenings. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen with a retro-inspired fridge, two breakfast bars, and TVs in both the living room and the bedroom. Air conditioning and complimentary WiFi are provided as well. During your visit, enjoy access to a wide variety of shared amenities including a large covered and furnished deck with an outdoor gas fireplace, two firepits, and a fun-filled, lower-level game room with classic arcade games, vending machines, a TV, full-size pool table, virtual reality area, ice machine, and poker table. <b>Things to Know</b> Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. There is no washer/dryer. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. <br/>Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Over all our stay was great, I give them 4 stars because we had a situation with a smoke detector and even though they fixed it in a fair time range it kind of “stained” out stay for the first night, in other places they offer at least a late check out with this kind of inconveniences. Their customer services were very good, local managers very friendly, they solved our inconveniences. Place is beautiful, there are more cottages in the property but is still very private and quiet, we even had a quick beautiful visitor ¡a bear! Was an amazing experience, we saw it pass through the window. Well located, around 10 min from Blairsville downtown. I think we will definitely come back in a future, I do recommend them.
We explored Helton Creek Falls (just down the road), Vogel State Park (1 mile away) Blairsville (11 miles away) and went up to Brasstown Bald (12 ish miles away) on our weekend getaway. We found it to be a good location for our activities. Cute place to stay. We enjoyed it for our getaway. The driveway is very steep but you can also park down by the main lodge with no problems.
Beautiful property, very well cared for! My husband was hiking the trail with 7 yr old - I booked this cabin to stay in with toddler, knowing the 7 yr old would get tired and end up staying. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the kid-themed loft. The cabin was clean & supplied with a full kitchen of utensils, trash bags and supplies. The bathrooms were spotless, plenty of linens provided. We came early in the year so the clubhouse was locked up but it did look very nice - looks like they are putting in a game room. Outside there is a huge deck, outdoor fireplace & several fire pits. During peak season this would be a great place to hang out and mingle. I needed to work while here and the wifi provided was fast enough for my zoom meetings with no issue. My only suggestions would be to install a child lock on the main door as it would be easy for a small child to wander off. A laundry facility would be ideal. Town is close and lots of great restaurants in the area. 10/10 will book again.
Vacasa’s Northern Georgia Treehouse is an exceptional property! The description and the property photos were a complete match. A short drive into Downtown Blairsville, but far enough to feel secluded in your own peaceful retreat. I would recommend this property to my friends and family. You’ll not be disappointed.
great customer service we accidently locked ourselves out of the house upon arrival and vacasa responded very fast and got us in the house
