I booked this experience at least a month ahead of time. Notified the host my flight was arriving late in the night and stated it was not a problem. I also asked if I needed a 4x4 or all terrain vehicle to get to her place and she said any vehicle was fine. Well it was raining on the night of my arrival and it was a muddy road which made the drive up in a standard car very slow and slippery. When we arrived to the property the gate was closed and locked. I tried reaching Maria on her phone. I called, messaged and even tried to contact via Airbnb and was unsuccessful. I honked at the gate to see if someone on the property might hear and nothing. So I had to find a place to stay at 3 am in a small town. Also, I was only offered 50% refund. Maria did not offer any apologies either for my inconvenience. I wish I could give ZERO stars but one was my way around this so I can advise anyone trying to stay there. Now I see why she barely has any bookings.

Para destacar, es un buen sitio de descanso con una vista increíble, muy tranquilo y con un Internet de alta velocidad, es una casa con una estructura física muy bonita y muy moderna, cuenta en sus instalaciones con lo necesario para tener una buena estadía, sin embargo tiene aspectos por mejorar: En lo que respecta a la cocina y sus utensilios pienso que hay algunos detalles como: no hay suficientes cubiertos, ollas, y sartenes, no hay olla a presión, ni olla de arroz, ni licuadora y falta un cucharón para servir sopas, la verdad mi esposa estuvo en aprietos al momento de cocinar. La limpieza es fundamental para nosotros, creo que es bueno que los anfitriones se aseguren que todo esté en condiciones para la entrega, debe de haber alguien que verifique el aseo antes de la llegada de los huéspedes. A nuestra llegada el comedor y la sala del exterior no estaban en su lugar, tuvimos que sacarlas. Cómo sugerencia adicional las camas y las almohadas deberían contar con protector.

We had an enchanting experience at Maria and Alejandro's retreat. Their home, located near the town, offers a serene escape surrounded by beautiful mountains. Immaculately clean, the house boasts an unparalleled view. The hammock bed provided a perfect spot to read and witness breathtaking sunsets. Highly recommend for a memorable getaway!
