Daniel/Phillip were friendly and quick to respond. The apartment was nice--but we needed to clean it ourselves, taking out the already full trash. The room was terrible; the pictures we took justified the rating. It's obvious that this is someone's bedroom. His things were everywhere: clothes in the hamper/filling the rack/every drawer, personal items on the floor and in all shelves. Closet missing a door and is packed. Top bunk doesn't exist, disaster for a family with a child. Nightstand filled with trash and used lube. Two half-empty water bottles. Sheets unclean. Worst of all, we were never given a room key. The lock was broken, so our things were unsecured for days. The host had me sort through his things to find the spare, and fixed the lock myself. When we saw we had two door keys, not one door/one room key, we were blamed for their friend not getting in to fix the lock and other guests not coming in when they had their keys. The other room was clean/empty, recommendable.

I feel that the host was inviligating my choices too much - there was an issue with moving the key locker from the staircase, even though it was originally not attached to it at all. The fuss was made much bigger in comparison to the issue, and I felt it kept distracting me from enjoying my time in the city. Bed covers were not fresh. Bathroom was covered in dirt. I’ve tried to call Daniel on Friday night because we’ve had difficulties to find an apartment. He called back at 1 am. Even though for plus is AC in his room, I would not recommend to stay at his place.

Happy to go again. A great overnight stay when needed to prepare for a early trip that was 15 mins via tram.
