very close to road and street lights shine through the windows with thin curtains. home has nothing extra to make our stay easier. we had to extend our stay in Escanaba and the previous house we stayed at was cheaper and much better.

The Eagles place was conveniently located near the fairgrounds and other amenities. The host was very responsive. The place was clean and did feel like home. I would stay again for the price.

I recently stayed at Mercedes’ Airbnb and I’d like to provide a through review of my experience. On the positive side, Mercedes was a gracious host and the location was convenient. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. 1. The countertop in the kitchen were not property secured, which raised safety concerns. 2. The of air conditioning was significantly inconsistence during our stay, especially in the hot weather. Causing us to buy our own fans for the cabin to “attempt” to cold it off. 3. The overall condition of the property and its surroundings left much to be desired. The pictures on Airbnb did not accurately represent the state of the cabin, which is quite disappointing. 4. Additional, the property is labeled “Main Office,” leading to random people coming to ask questions at odd hours, which is unsettling for guests. While I appreciate Mercedes hospitality, these issues made our less comfortable and enjoyable than we had hoped. I hope these comments help.
