Firstly, The chalet is far away from the city which means that you crucially need a car . There is very old furniture and most importantly some of them are initially broken so when you leave they charge you additionally for the broken furniture. These is no locks on the toilets . All the other rooms the doors have old fashioned locks - they are closed by a simple wire as the lock .There are insects everywhere . The water in all the pools are really dirty. The metal outing of the pool is covered in rust and the slide is not at all safe for the kids. When walking on the artificial grass it gave me severe allergies. One of the sitting rooms were damp so it was unusable. Many times the water just cut off and it took many hours for it to return to normal. The cooking has was empty when we arrived so they ordered it and it took more than two days for it to be delivered. Honestly, if you don’t care about your health then this is the place for you . The owner always keeps in touch.

Fez Chalet provided a fantastic 2 night stay for myself and my family. The pool areas were fantastic and great for both the kids and ourselves. All areas of the property are completely private and not overlooked which was great. both pools were well cleaned and chlorinated for our stay. the beds were comphy and clean as were the living room areas. all AC worked well. we did have to pay a 500 riyal deposit in cash and sign on arrival but upon inspection when we left even at 2:00 a.m. the host was happy to return the deposit seeing everything was okay. the chalet is very spacious but you do have to be aware you need to bring your own items for example kitchen items, soaps , towels etc. the location was manageable using a taxi service but quiet expensive costing around 75 riyals each way to the Al Rahmah mosque and red sea mall. if you drive would be better as there's parking right which is secured. the property in parts does show some signs of aging however I'd happily revisit.
