Beautiful place that looked just like the photos. Didn't notice the front porch in any photos, but it was a welcome surprise. Outdoor space was great and also a peaceful neighborhood.
Dawn’s place was perfect for our group of 3 relatives, we spent just one night but were able to enjoy the clean and comfortable space. The kitchen is super well equipped, the beds are comfortable - everything you need for a restful stay and cooking a meal together. Just a few minutes by car from the center of New Haven but with nice water views in a quiet neighborhood.
My daughter and I stayed here for 5 days to visit Yale University. I intentionally chose an Airbnb away from downtown to avail the convenience of a suburb. We had an overall comfortable stay but I will not stay here again because of a few reasons: -It was 50 degrees in the house when we checked in at 6:30 pm. I texted to ask how to use the thermostat (it’s an old dial) but did not get a response until past 10 pm. -We found a bug on the kitchen counter -I didn’t realize that there wasn’t a washer dryer. It defeats the purpose of staying in an Airbnb - The host asked us not to park on the premises and I had to park in front of neighbor’s house. Second day I found a ton of dry tree branches around the car that had fallen on during the night and scratched the top. With electric pole boxes, neighbor’s driveway, yatch club it was difficult to find a spot. -In the pictures they show a Peloton, but the subscription was not active
