We were staying for more than two weeks in Vaso‘s lovely house and enjoyed the wonderful and beautiful garden a lot. It’s a private location with a big and well-kept garden and a wonderful view to the sea. The location is exactly as described and offers a peaceful, quiet retreat for families and people who like to spend their vacation in a private and natural surrounding. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and there are also many nice taverns and restaurants in Zacharo and villages nearby. There are many interesting places to explore nearby, e.g. ancient Olympia, Neda waterfalls, lake Kaiphia and many great beaches. Vaso is a great host. We all had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back in the near future.

We stayed in Vaso’s house for three weeks and it is exactly as described. The house and the village were perfect for a long stay with kids. The garden is beautiful, an olive grove with nice grass and plenty of flowers. The cicadas are everywhere and you can truly feel in a small paradise. There is even a view of the Ionian Sea which is beautiful. We really liked the Zacharo area as it is not too touristy but very authentic and there are plenty of things to do, including restaurants, farmers markets, local shopping. The house is about 45 min away from Olympia and one hour from the ferry to Zakynthos (mandatory visit if you stay in the area). You must have a car to enjoy this area of the Péloponnese. The kitchen is well equipped if you like cooking and there is plenty of food shops in the village. It is a rural house but very pleasant to be in.

Vaso is a lovely host . Met us in town . Left food in the fridge for us . Her house is an Absolutely fabulous place! Better than the photos. Lovely stone house with amazing outdoor space , huge garden with volleyball net. Amazing covered terrace, private , quiet and secluded despite the road it was very quiet. Air con in all the bedrooms, powerful shower, beach equipment , well stocked kitchen , loads of utensils , lovely barbecue . All in all absolutely fabulous . 10 mins to amazing 10km long beach . Loads of beach bars and tavernas, try the fish restaurant 5mins away in Kakovakos on the beach . All beaches have free sun beds. Worth going to Kyparrisia, Pyrgos , Olympia and Katakolo. Zacharo is a quiet town with good restaurants , coffee shops , restaurants and pharmacies. All you need got a relaxing stay

La maison de Vaso est un petit coin de paradis ! Une maison avec toutes les commodités ! Nous étions en famille et nous avons pu profiter pleinement du terrain de volley ! Basket ! Terrasse ombragée ! Tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et les restos et plages aux alentours sont justes superbes :) nous reviendrons !
