First, the positives. The owner was there to meet us and let us in and was very kind. The view and the local “wildlife” were wonderful. The kitchen was large and great for cooking for a group. The listing mentioned that being in the country, there may be a few insects in the home but it was way beyond a few. .There were a few other issues such as needing additional linens but they were minor compared to the insects. The host did check in on us via text but at that point we only had a day left in our short stay so did not ask to be moved. That fault is on me. The home is in a peaceful and quiet area but is off the beaten path. There are quite a few wineries very close by which is convenient.

Our stay was awesome! The place and view are beautiful, and the hosts were very easy to get in touch with. We couldn’t find any cutting boards on our first night, so Eloy brought one over for us :) I wish the outdoor patio had lights of some sort, since the sun set pretty early during our stay. String lights around that space would work!

Jeanette and Eloy were awesome. Met us at the house and gave us the tour. Very flexible check in to fit our needs.

Evolve promptly addressed the issues we encountered at the home we had booked, displaying care and excellence in their response. Despite our early booking, the actual conditions were drastically different from the description—unsanitary, dirty, and lacking several promised amenities, including a Nespresso machine. Furthermore, there was unmentioned construction around the house. It was evident the property was rushed into listing and was far from being guest-ready. Although the house had potential, it required significant cleaning and maintenance. I remain hopeful these issues will be resolved. Nevertheless, Evolve's team handled our concerns with kindness and consideration. Regrettably, we had to opt not to stay, and we appreciate the refund process being smoothly managed.
