If you like to immerse yourself in history, yet still appreciate the modern touch; Goodramgate Apartments offer the ideal accommodation for your visit to York. We offer 21 modern contemporary apartments in grade 2 listed buildings, ideally situated at Monkbar and Clifford's Street, just a 2 minute short stroll from the Minster and main shopping centre of York. We also have a large Victorian townhouse, Bennett House, which sleeps up to 16 people. This has been recently renovated to a high standard and is ideal for families, groups of friends or hen nights, sleeping up to 16. This is in the centre of York near to Clifford’s Tower and just 15 mins from the river Ouse promenade at Kings Staith, ideal for just about everything! The unrivalled central location of all the properties means no car is needed during your stay as all the bars, restaurants and shopping you need are a stone’s throw away. The majority of York’s other key attractions are all under a 10 minute walk away. We offer studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments, sleeping from 2-6 persons, total capacity 28 in three buildings all located within 50 metres of each other. Bennett House is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhouse sleeping up to 16 just a 10 minute walk from the other apartments. Goodramgate Apartments are furnished and decorated to a high standard with tasteful contemporary interiors and provide everything you need for a short break. All have fully equipped kitchens with oven, hob, fridge freezer and microwave. All bedrooms have king size beds and Egyptian cotton sheets. All bathrooms have a walk in shower, heated towel rail, towels and toiletries. We also provide tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi and LCD TV. The Minster studio and Bootham Suite all have private outside areas to make your stay extra special. Friendly and approachable staff are available on site 7 days a week from 10am until 5pm. Our apartments are conveniently located literally two minute’s walk from the world famous York Minister and five minutes or less to the central shopping streets Parliament St, Coney Street and Stonegate. Bennett House is located by the river next to Clifford’s Tower, the eye of York. In the evening experience the contrasts of city life, a meal at one of York’s splendid restaurants or a drink down by the river followed by a leisurely stroll back home.
