If I could give more than a 5 star review I would. Alisha’s place is cozy, well decorated, well stocked, really nice extra touches like plants And soft linens and natural products. Love love love 💕 will be back!
If I could give over 5 stars I would! This place is the definition of a home away from home. I felt incredibly safe and it was easy to find! It is so clear the host wanted you to feel welcome from the way it’s decorated to all the small touches around the place. It has been by far one of my favourite places to stay. They were always so quick to respond and incredibly helpful if you needed anything. It’s a perfect place to relax and the neighbourhood has a lovely view on the walking paths!
Alisha has designed a lovely space. So much thought has gone into it with beautiful interior design, amazing ammenities and so many extras. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was clean and Alisha had provided some delicious smelling locally produced hair products and shower gel. The kitchen was pristine and, importantly for my partner and I, had an amazing range of tea and coffee. The location was great with some beautiful walks around the lake. I love that the hosts had thought of everything, with amazing extra touches like spare toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, ear plugs etc. This was the perfect Airbnb for a relaxing stay in Vernon and so far, my favourite Airbnb I’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. Thanks for hosting us and would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Vernon!
Such a beautifully decorated and well situated place. I enjoyed my walks and getting about town and back was super easy. I felt right at home and was glad for the pleasure of being able to cook, relax and write. Would definitely book again

Located within a 5-minute drive (or a short walk) from Okanagan Lake, guests can swim, paddle board, picnic, and more at Kin Beach, Paddlewheel Park, and Lakeshore Park. Dine on the lakeside patio at 1516 Pub and Grill, or head to Marshall Fields (3 minutes away) for a game of pickleball, soccer, or disc golf at Lakers Clubhouse. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy nearby walking and biking paths, as well as access to trails with beautiful lake and mountain views. Take a stroll on the Longacre Trail which is just a 3-minute walk from your door or take a drive to one of Vernon’s other scenic trails such as Grey Canal or The Okanagan Rail Trail. Visit nearby provincial parks for mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, or relaxing. Ellison Provincial Park is just a 15-minute drive, and Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park is 20 minutes away. Extreme adventure seekers can get their fix at Okanagan Skydive, located 3 minutes away at the Vernon Airport.
Just a 30-minute drive to SilverStar Mountain Resort and Sovereign Lake Nordic Club for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Mountain bikers and hikers can enjoy the trails during the summer season.
Golfers can find several courses within a short drive. 15 minutes to Hillview if you want to work on your short game, 15 mins to Vernon Golf and Country Club, 20 mins to Spallumcheen, and 15 mins to the Rise for stunning views, 6 tee options per hole, and lots of local wildlife. Predator Ridge Resort is 20 minutes away, with two 18-hole courses for you to choose from.
We are close to Lake Country wineries, Okanagan Spirits Distillery, and Cambium Cidery, providing opportunities for wine and spirit tasting. Ask us for recommendations! Davison Orchards Country Village and Planet Bee are just a short 7-minute drive away, making it easy to procure some local goodies. Stop by one of the various farm stands that can be found on Vernon’s backroads for fresh flowers, fruit, and veggies.
The property is a 10-minute drive from downtown, and walking distance to the bus route. There are restaurants, gas stations, a grocery store and a pharmacy 5 minutes away in The Landing Plaza. We are a 9 minute drive from the Vernon hospital and 35 minutes from the Kelowna airport.
