No Air BnB fees! Welcome to your cozy one-bedroom apartment near Beechwood Village, where every need is met. This private haven features a separate entrance, no shared spaces except for laundry, and your own backyard oasis backing onto a maple forest with walking paths! Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood just steps away from vibrant Beechwood Ave and downtown, it's easily accessible by bus, car, or foot. The apartment is thoughtfully stocked with everything you require for a comfortable stay. The apartment consists of a living-room with large windows overlooking front garden, a small bathroom, a full kitchen with small dining table for two, and a cozy bedroom with king sized bed, closet, and window overlooking back yard. You have private use of the back yard, which is bordered by a forest (there is a fence on the forest side). Brand new bathtub, shower walls, and deluxe shower head, as well as a new, larger kitchen counter, have been added after the first guest stayed. Note that the apartment shares one wall with hosts home. As it's an older home, sound-proofing is not 100% and sounds from host's family may sometimes be heard, though it's generally pretty quiet.

The Hiltop Oasis was just what we were looking for in a short-term accommodation. The location was perfect for our downtown work obligations. Considering we were so close to downtown the Oasis was a very quiet and secure area. We truly appreciate having our own area to park our vehicle, and it was safe we would stay at the Oasis again if we were back in Ottawa
Excellent hosts, private, parking included,. clean. King size bed very cozy! Cons: Rustic bathroom, no air conditioning (floor fan provided)

There are many bus stops within a few blocks of the apartment and it is easy to get around to various locations in Ottawa. Aside from buses, the neighbourhood is very walkable and you can walk to most amenities such as grocery stores, liquor store, pubs, restaurants, pet store, drug store, etc.
It is also easy to take a taxi or Uber or if you have your own vehicle, we are very centrally located and you can get anywhere in town within a short time.
