We had the most wonderful stay in the gorgeous location, which is a stone throw from the lagoon. The house was clean and spacious and well equipped. There is a separate cottage that sleeps 2, providing privacy if needed. The beaches were amazing and the teens were able to walk to the lagoon to enjoy swimming and sundowners. There are also amazing things to do - fishing, waterskiing, surfing (there is someone on Kariega beach providing lessons for those who have never done it before), and a very vibey nightclub, Jerry's. Everything is close by, and overall, our stay was just fantastic! Sue, our host, answered our queries almost immediately and provided any and all advice and assistance. We were very excited when we booked this home as the main image indicated a river/ lagoon view with a beach way path. We we had seen other bookings online for Similar pricing but the beach patio view photo was ultimately what made our decision. To much disappointment when we checked in we noticed the house was not located on the lagoon. Upon messaging the owner to ask about this we were told that this wasn’t an image from the home and we could join their friend at her house if we wanted to have a similar view. Researching rentals in Kenton, we could have paid the equivalent for a scenic view, we felt this was false advertising to advertise a river view & beach access. The host is a super host and we are unsure how other guests have not made reviews that the beach view was not a reality. The housekeeper advised their was no microwave as it was broken since Christmas which made it difficult especially with children. Lovely home but disappointing experience.

Very comfortable family home. Proximity to the shops and the beaches is great, we could walk everywhere. House is very secure and we felt safe. There is a water tank which helped so much as they are currently struggling with water restrictions in the area. The WiFi is capped so bring a dongle or use data on your phone. We had a great stay - thanks Sue

All as advertised and a great stay. We had a minor issue with the fridge freezer but this was sorted out quickly by Sue. I can recommend this place to anyone looking in the Kenton Area.

Wonderful house with ample comfortable accommodation. Close to all amenities. Really all one needs for a special holiday at a very special place.
