We had a wonderful time at this place for the eclipse. The place is beautiful, on the lake, and the house was decorated for the eclipse. While the eclipse was partially blocked by the clouds, having a sweeping view of the lake allowed us to view the line of darkness approach, envelop us for a few minutes, and then see the line of daylight approach. The house was perfect for 6 of us. There are permanent residents on both sides, so this is not a party house. But there is a huge lawn and plenty of room to do cook outs and the like.

We had a group of five high school friends that have known an each other for more than 40 years. The lake house was a fantastic place for us to gather and catch up. Very peaceful and scenic. When we arrived we found the house to be very inviting with snacks and other goodies made available for our stay. The coffee that was there made everyone very happy. It was also well stocked with all the needed items like dish soap and paper towels. Jim was a great host and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.
