Spacious country house in Andalusia accommodates 6 (max. 8) people, has a garden and private swimming pool, a spacious kitchen and living room, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Sun, rest, nature and privacy. Several terraces overlook our beautiful valley with old Moorish olive groves. From Malaga airport 1:20h drive; village of Lanjaron 12 mins. The last 800m to the House is a unpaved country road. We speak Dutch, English and Spanish. Our modern country house has been rebuilt from the old stones of the earlier ruin with attention to ecology and detail. On the upper floor: a spacious hall, large kitchen and living room. There is also a bedroom with its own bathroom. Downstairs there are three larger bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and terrace. On this level the private swimming pool (9.5x3m) and the garden.

We genoten heel erg van ons verblijf in Lanjarón. De mooie foto’s liegen niet, de werkelijkheid is even mooi, zowel het huis als de omgeving. Bij aankomst voelden we ons meteen thuis, en kregen we de nodige uitleg over de woning en omgeving. Een mooi ingericht huis met ruim terras met vergezichten, met weelderig groen rond het aanpalend zwembad. Leuke wandelingen in de omgeving, uitstapjes naar Granada, de kust of Sierra Nevada, alles is vlakbij. Als er een vraag was, was Michael vlot bereikbaar en kwam hij onmiddellijk verhelpen aan het probleem. Fijne service. We missen nu al de zon, het lichtrijke huis met vergezichten en de lieve huiskat Milo. We komen dus graag nog een keer terug.

The house is located in the Andalusian region of Alpujarra, between the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada and the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. The region is known as a hiking area with extraordinary natural beauty and cultural heritage. Historic trails into the nature reserve of the Sierra Nevada start directly from the house.
Within a 45-minute drive you find the city of Granada with the Alhambra, the many white villages in the Alpujarra and beaches on the Mediterranean Sea. The village of Lanjaron has many bars, restaurants, shops and small supermarkets. Lanjarón has a history as a spa town thanks to natural spring water. On Fridays the town's outdoor market offers all kinds of fresh products.
The house is best reached by car. There are two parking spaces directly in front of the house. The access road is still adventurous; an easier entry route will be available within a few months.
Public transport: buses reach the village of Lanjarón. From there it is about a 45-minute walk to the house.
