Serre Chevalier is in the Hautes Alpes, the sunniest part of the French Alps (300 days of sunshine a year) and one of the most majestic.
The ski area is the largest in the Southern Alps, home to a dozen villages, so large that you can ski without the crowds on the slopes.
Since the purchase of the resort by the Compagnie des Alpes, the resort has been equipped with state-of-the-art chairlifts and gondola lifts to ensure a smooth flow and avoid long queues. This makes it easy to think only of skiing and to reach the many areas with the greatest ease.
Serre Chevalier is at the entrance to the internationally renowned Ecrins National Park, where you can do the most beautiful hikes and find a multitude of refuges where you will find a warm welcome. Fauna and flora will of course be present.

A thermal relaxation centre, the Grands Bains de Monêtier, unique in the Hautes-Alpes, with large indoor and outdoor swimming pools with water at 37°, rising naturally hot from the depths. You will find in the "Grands Bains" area: saunas, hammams, jacuzzis, refrigerator (bathes at 14°), caldarium (baths at 40°) and lots of other activities for young and old and in the "Institut SPA" area, a whole range of facial and body care and massages.

The apartment is located in Serre Chevalier halfway between the village of Le Monêtier-les-Bains and La Salle les Alpes, in the hamlet of Freyssinet,
Located only 80 meters from the bus stop serving all the villages of the resort and the ski slopes in winter.
By car if you arrive by Grenoble:
Follow the D 1091 to the village of "Le Monêtier-les-Bains".
Cross the village and continue towards Briançon for about 3 kilometers.
You will cross the village of Les Guibertes on the right, continue then take the rue des Gletières which will be the 2nd street on the left.
At the first crossing, the Chalet de la Croix de Bois will be there, on your left.
By car if you arrive from Briançon:
Follow the D 1091 up to the village of "La Salle-les-Alpes".
Cross the village and continue for about 3 kilometers.
You will cross a sign indicating the hamlet of "Freyssinet" on the right, take the street "rue des Gletières" on your right.
At the first crossing, the Chalet de la Croix de Bois will be there, on your left.
By bus:
Get off at the stop "Le Freyssinet".
