these little tiny cottages are so adorable. we stumbled upon this listing by chance and were absolutely blown away by how charming the space was and how naturally beautiful the beach and surrounding area was. we will definitely be back!
The location was great for what we needed. It was close to the redwood forest and the restaurants nearby in Brookings were great. We did have some issues with the wifi. But other than that it was fantastic.
Breath taking view of beach and ocean. Nicely furnished and decorated with fully stocked kitchen. Upstairs sleeping space is a bit cramped but all the beds were comfortable and there was tons of storage in all the areas. Short walk down to the beach, close to Oregon Coast activities and Redwood parks.
The view is amazing which is why I gave higher stars but the cabin was very tricky for adults. The upstairs loft with 2 twin beds is only about 4 feet high. therefore my 87 year old mom and myself had to either walk about on our knees or bend over. The stairs going up the stairs were definitely grandfathered in because they are quite steep and the last step is way higher than a normal step. The railing around the stairwell is quite short and would not be safe if children were upstairs. The potential to fall over them is possible. There was no railing going up the steep stairs. Neither of these would be up to code. The cabin was actually a trailer brought in and added on to. Be aware it is not rodent tight. This didn't bother me but we did find mouse feces in the silverware drawer. We wanted to sanitize everything with bleach but there wasn't any. The location is perfect and very quiet. Imagine sitting in a hot tub and watching the waves roll in. Wonderful beach to walk.
This cabin is perfect. King sized bed which we always look for. Very comfortable. Everything we were looking for. The hot tub on the oceans edge… wonderful. The sound of the ocean and smell of ocean air when you slide open the glass door. We definitely plan to come back. Thank you very much
