Parking:
The parking possibilities on the streets of Vienna are really expensive and misleading.
That's why we highly recommend the following procedure.

Parking Garage:

There is a Park & Ride Garage (Spittelauer Lände 12, 1090 Wien) close to our apartment from where you can take the underground (U6 Spittelau to Josefstädter Straße) directly to us. It's a 15-minute drive, and the parking costs about €4,10 for 24 hours.

Parking on the Streets: (not recommended during weekdays)

Watch out for signs of allowed and restricted parking areas.
*** DO NOT PARK ON THE LANE IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING. ***
*** BE CAREFUL WITH ALL LANES ON GÜRTEL STREET. ***
*** RESTRICTIONS DURING RUSH HOUR. ***
On Saturdays and Sundays, you can park for free anywhere nearby the apartment if allowed and not restricted spot. (An exception is Austrian national holidays which allow parking for free on the street any day.)
Also during weekdays from 10 p.m. (22:00) to 9 a.m. (9:00), it's for free on the street within Vienna.
The other time you need to get special parking tickets at paper kiosks (tobacconist's) or gas stations. (€2,20/hour)
