Our stay at Tobacco Caye was exactly what we expected and hoped for. We were there in October, and no a/c as advertised was no problem. There was a constant sea breeze & we never closed the back door to the deck (overlooking the sea), which allowed the air to flow. The deck on our cabana is where we spent most of our time, watching fish & stingrays. We snorkeled a few times, which was amazing, but other than that we just relaxed. Relaxing does not come naturally to me, so being at Tobacco Caye was perfect because it really forced me to slow down :). Finally had the motivation to read a book, practice my sudoku skills, and connect with my partner. The homemade food was very good and there was a variety every day. The fish was our favorite, but we also loved the chicken, stew, breakfast burritos, and we especially loved the desserts we had at lunches and dinners. Thank you so much to Ms. Doreen and the entire staff! You made our stay extra special and we cannot wait to come back!

Man hat sich in der Hütte über dem Wasser in der Hängematte liegend sehr wohl gefühlt. Da die anderen Anlagen auf der Insel noch geschlossen waren, befanden sich nur 10 Touristen auf der Insel. Am Süden der Insel konnte man sehr gut schnorcheln.

Absolutely beautiful cabana over the water. Stingrays swimming by constantly! Very friendly staff on the island.

No ac, it states it in the listing. But try it one night at home to make sure you know what 84° and no ac feels like 😅. Very private and relaxing. Good for a 3-4 day stay
