Anuk is a fantastic guide to life in Mongolia both inside and outside the city. Her families Ger was warm and accommodating with horses to ride and hikes. Separately, she put together a guided day trip in UB and even booked a jazz club performance for me (us) in a local bar. She’s amazing and will take care of you:)

One of my best experiences!! First of all they provide tour and pick up. Anuk and her sister are friendly, polite, talkative. We have so much fun together! Second thing in the ger: peaceful wonderful!! Anuk’s family are kind and gentle. Auntie is a good cook. We love the food she makes. “Маш амттай” Everyday we play with the dogs; looking for the sheep; having a good meal; look up at the stars … I got restored these days. Must go Mongolia and must pick anuk!!

This was one of the BEST holidays I've ever taken. If you're thinking about booking, just do it - you won't regret it. Living with Chuka and Ouna for a week was absolutely incredible. I felt so welcome and like part of the family. They were so generous in sharing their lifestyle and Mongolian culture, from teaching Mongolian words and explaining their work and food. I was able to watch them herd their sheep and goats, milk their cows, and prepare meals. The homemade, authentic Mongolian meals were DELICIOUS and so fresh. Anuk was very proactive and easy to communicate with. She arranged for my pickup and return to the airport and it ended up being her very charming sister Oyuka who drove. She also arranged horse riding for me, which was a lovely relaxing way to spend an afternoon. I was so touched by this experience, especially because I had my birthday during my stay and they gave me gifts. It was such a wonderful surprise and I was so moved by the kindness and generosity I received.

Thank you for everything, Anuk. You are the best host I've ever met before. I miss every single minute at your place! Endless view of sight, a lot of cows and sheep, and peaceful animal sound at night.. You know what? Fresh milk cream... I miss it most. I hope to visit there again! I will never forget the week I spent here. Accommodation introductions and reviews written by other travelers are real! There's a lot I want to write about, but I don't have enough space, so I'll just write down a few tips for the next traveler. First, check the weather depending on the season and pack appropriate clothing. It may be colder or hotter than you thought. Secondly, I recommend visiting with some vodka, sweets, or some souvenirs from your country. Third, be sure to bring a USIM card or portable Wi-Fi. There is no wifi here. Fourth, make sure you bring plenty of water so it is convenient for washing your face or brushing your teeth. Still, it's hard to look forward to a shower. Also, you have to try horseback riding. Lastly, it might be a bit boring to come alone. Since there are only grasslands and animals around, there won't be much you can do on your own. I would like to thank the nomad family and host Anuk for their kind hospitality during the week.
