The house utilizes the ever changing mountain/ocean breeze for climate control, and refreshing river waters from the mountains for the showers/pool to cool you down. Read below to discover how to live in our home and stay cool during the day/night... During the day: The doors are big and plentiful allowing for maximum ventilation from the mountain/ocean breeze. We recommend opening all the doors during the day to keep the home well ventilated and at optimal temperature. We also have high powered industrial ceiling fans throughout the house to provide extra air. The pool is filled with fresh river water and is only a few steps away so you can constantly refresh your body in the Puerto Escondido sun. Our showers also use cold river water to keep you refreshed during the day. During the Night: We recommend leaving the doors and windows slightly open during the night to encourage a constant breeze through the rooms and keep you feeling fresh. If you need more ventilation, each room has high powered industrial ceiling fans to provide extra air. In the Summer months, when the heat is at its highest, we recommend taking a cold shower before bed to reduce your body temperature before you rest. *POOL* You need a day off from surfing / exploring / partying? Just stay home and chill by our wonderful turquoise pool. You can sunbathe on the wooden deck, listen to the sound of the waterfall or have a drink and relax in our pool loungers. Sounds like a dream, right? *ROOFTOP* Our panoramic roof terrace has 3 hammocks shaded by a pergola. It is the ideal spot to stargaze, watch the sunset the ocean or practice yoga in the morning. *KITCHEN AND LIVING SPACE* The Villa’s kitchen is spacious, bright, and fully equipped. We furnished it with everything you need to prepare a nice breakfast after your morning surf or to cook a delicious dinner after a long day exploring the coast. *BEDROOMS* You will enjoy restful nights of sleep, thanks to our comfortable queen size beds and our high quality linens. Each of the two bedrooms have their own private bathroom, with a view of the green mountains. *BRISAS DE ZICATELA DEVELOPEMENT* ​In the past few years the development activities of Zicatela and La Punta have grown drastically. Everywhere you go you will see new construction abound, including our neighborhood in Linda Vista. This is great for the local community and tourists alike.
