Sweet cottage, very peaceful with lots of birds to listen to. Short drive to Orvieto, and a walkable restaurant up the road. I imagine in the summer when the pool is open, its even better. We went in April, while it was not cold, I wish heat and fire wood was not an extra cost and could somehow be included, like I've experienced in other airbnb's in Italy. Kitchen decently stocked, but when we started cooking, there was a couple basics missing, no olive oil or paper towels, but there were things we didn't need like milk and jam, so it might be good to check the house before doing a shopping. There was wine for purchase in the house. I suggest asking the price beforehand, we ended up not having exact change at check out for the tax and wine (because we didnt know the price) and ended up having to pay extra because the manager also had no change. Overall a nice stay!

Our stay in this house surrounded by greenery was really beautiful. It was exactly the getaway I needed. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and it also had an internal fireplace so we could stay cosy at this time of year. It was warmer during the day so we were able to use the outdoor barbecue which was really nice. The house had a beautiful garden and a view of the lake - very peaceful. Location is about 15 minutes drive from the center of Orvieto, and Supermarkets, shops and pharmacies are about 10 minutes’ drive so easy to reach. The villa manager Maurizio was always helpful and very friendly. Would love to come back in summer with the swimming pool - will definitely return to this little paradise!

Prachtige locatie, ruim en goed uitgeruste woning. Enorme tuin met zwembad, en genoeg plek om paaseitjes te verstoppen. De omgeving leent zich goed voor wandelingen en bezoekjes aan bijvoorbeeld Orvieto en Civita. Maurizio is altijd beschikbaar voor advies en suggesties. Deze accommodatie is zeker een aanrader.

Un’oasi di pace immersa nel verde, casa comoda, caminetto incantevole per momenti di relax al caldo. La casa immersa nel bosco per passeggiate, da tornare per poter esplorare.
