Dome glamping creates a unique accommodation experience with coziness and closeness to nature, only 10 minutes by car from the centre of Lillehammer (or 10min by bus+10min walk). This is a place where you can relax in nice surroundings, watch the sky, listen to the birdlife, or go cross-country skiing in the winter-season. The Arctic Dome has heating sources to keep you warm when cold outside. The bathroom + kitchen is located in the neighbouring cabin (shared with us). Free parking on premises. The area is located in a peaceful area of Lillehammer, walking distance to Lysgårdsbakkene and Birkebeineren Ski Stadium. There are no shops around and the nearest food store is a 5-minute drive. To reach the town centre it's a 10-minute drive or 20 minutes by bus+walk. You can enjoy privacy in the dome. However, you'll have to go over to our cabin in order to use the kitchen and bathroom. We live in the cabin and those areas are therefore shared with us. The dome offers an electric kettle to make tea and coffee. Drinking water and cups are provided. It is also possible to charge your phone in the dome as it offers electricity. Heating (Wood, fuel, electricity), towels, bed linen, tea/coffee, candles, cleaning after your stay, are all incorporated in the booking price.

We live in the neighbouring cabin, just 25 steps from the dome. You are going to share the kitchen and bathroom with us in the cabin.

There are food delivery services that deliver to the address.
By private transport:
The dome is only a 10-minute drive from the centre of Lillehammer. There is free parking on the premises.
By public transport: From the main bus terminal (right next to the train station), take bus number B6 or 500 to Olasvevegen (bus ride is 8-9min). From there it´s a 10-minute walk to the dome. Buses go approximately once an hour until early evening (monday-saturday).
Please note that we have experienced that some buses announce the bus stop a few seconds too early, so double-check with the driver or your phone.
