Süssauer Strand is a long natural beach and is located in the 'fair-weather corner' of Ostholstein near the island of Fehmarn. Most of the beach is open to dogs, so that even four-legged friends can feel right at home here. For anglers, the Süssau beach offers a unique stretch of sea trout. And should the weather not play along, the surrounding area offers many worthwhile excursion destinations: the Schleswig-Holstein Lake District, the Baltic Sea spa Großenbrode, the Hansapark in Sierksdorf and the island of Fehmarn with a shark and marine center, a donkey park and the 'Noah's Ark'. Denmark is also just a stone's throw away. Well-developed cycle paths open up the beautiful landscape of Schleswig-Holstein to you. You can hire bicycles directly on site.
