Lovely place in a quiet area of okinawa , for the ppl looking for peace and quiet. Some nice hikes, landscape and beaches around with the yanburi national park at your doorstep

The house is in a great location to explore northern Okinawa. The house was clean and the room was spacious. I felt the description and photos suggested there would be the opportunity of morning yoga, surf/SUP lesson and maybe a morning smoothie however none of these were offered to me. I also wasn’t orientated to the kitchen area so didn’t feel comfortable making tea etc. I found Mitsu quite cold and challenging to communicate with (and I studied Japanese at school). I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this place to a solo female foreign traveller.

This is the perfect place to stay if you enjoy being surrounded by nature. Mitsu’s house and garden is spacious and designed with love. Apart from that, Mitsu gave us tips for things to do in northern Okinawa and for surfing. We have also tried the typical Japanese breakfast, which was delicious. Him, his partner and the four cats made us feel welcome. Arigato sai mas!

I stayed here for two days and it was exactly what I needed. A little bit of peace and quiet in a lovely room and lovely view from the balcony where you can sit and read. It is close to the beach and close to hiji waterfalls. The hosts where lovely, they didn’t speak a lot of english but i did not have a lot of problems with it. Overall, amazing place!
