Super liebe Gastgeberin und Ofelia (ihre Schwester) ist einfach wunderbar! Sie hat einen kleinen Laden nebenan und man kann Wasser und alltägliche Lebensmittel kaufen. Das Haus ist geräumig und sehr sauber! Wir sind rundum begeistert und werden sehr gerne wiederkommen!

Partial blame on us as newly installed SIM cards didn’t work. Grab driver stop 5 times to ask locals for directions - difficult to find. Driver attempted to call both Darren and Ofelia with no response. Instructions said to report to apt #32 upon arrival - no one there. Women next door was confused as to why we were at apt #32. Nevertheless, she opened the door to reveal her little store inside. My wife decided she had enough and we returned to Cebu. In short, we never stayed there so I can’t attest to the cleanliness of the room. It would be remiss of me not to mention that there is nothing remotely close to this location, i.e. restaurants, entertainment, etc… Lastly, the road outside the compound is somewhat questionable. In other words, it’s not a place you would want to walk around in especially at night. Our Grab driver actually said “Sir, I don’t think this is a good place for you to stay.” Whether we receive any type of refund remains to be seen.

Upon arriving we were greeted right away by Ofel. We were able to get water and some simple kitchen supplies only next door. Although we almost did not have a need for the hot water heater in the shower upstairs it was nice to have. Any issues were were quickly resolved by Darren only an email away. The pool was very close by. The ac worked well in the main bedroom. The TV is a good size. For security there is a deadbolt for the door. This is a gated community so there are guards 24/7. We liked the bakery outside the front gate. It was a nice morning or evening walk.

Darren is a helpful host. The place was really great and we would definitely come and stay at their place the next vacation in the Philippines. It’s a quiet place and one thing we love the most is it is too close to the swimming pool. It’s kids friendly. I highly recommend this place especially for a family.
