My family and I really enjoyed our time at Andrea’s house. It is gorgeous! It was a comfortable and beautiful home base for our daily adventures. It’s in a main drag so close to some attractions like Bishop’s Palace and The Strand. Andrea was very helpful and responsive with information on places we should eat/visit. The beds we’re comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked for cooking. We truly felt at home. The front porch was a nice place to be during low traffic times, and the backyard was nice for eating outside. Both front and back are beautifully landscaped and have goldfish ponds! We would stay here again.
My sister, my best friend and I took my mom for the third year to Galveston for her birthday. Each year we try to find a home that is unique with lots of character. This house was above and beyond our expectations! Absolutely beautiful! Everything we needed from linens to bath salts to sunscreen was available for our use. The house is on a main street, which was nice for us to be able to walk to our tour of the Bishops Palace. The backyard is very private and relaxing. Perfect for our morning coffee and relaxing with a glass of wine at night. Would absolutely 100% recommend the house and the host!
Me and my wife absolutely LOVED the place! It was easy to walk to the beach, yet still private and secluded. There was a bunch of things to do around the area and the overall vibes of the neighborhood was welcoming. 10/10 would definitely reccommend!
Andrea’s house is located in a historic district surrounded by other homes such as hers. It is a treat to be able to go in and for a while live in such a unique place. You feel like you are back in the 19 century! At the same time, the house is very well equipped; everything you need is provided for you. I would recommend staying in that house ;)
Located on Broadway in the East End Historic District, just down the street from the Bishop's Palace. This 1905 Classical Revival home exudes traditional Southern charm characteristic of this beautiful and well preserved, historic neighborhood.
Parking is available in the two car garage accessed from the alley directly behind the house. There is one remote garage door opener in the house for guest use. Street parking is available and free.
