Located a stone’s throw from the cellar door & food trailer, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy Monte Christo & the surrounding region. *We are a smokefree establishment Every aspect of this 61 square metre cottage is carefully crafted to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. Enjoy stunning views of the mountains beyond, complete with a private outdoor patio providing a tranquil and serene environment for your stay. Your bedroom has a king bed that can be split to make two king singles (on request) and when extra guests are included in your stay, the additional charge includes linen provided for the fold out queen sofa bed in the lounge.

By international standards this was very well priced
So we have been fortunate to have travelled a lot and this Airbnb is by far the best we have ever stayed in. If we could have given 10 stars we would have. Location is amazing and the accommodation wants for nothing. Completely relaxing environment from the second you drive in, beautiful peaceful location on a vineyard, stunning scenery and wine! What more could you wish for. Sacha was amazing and looked after us brilliantly. Sad to leave :-( We really can’t praise it enough. Almost wish we could downgrade all previous property ratings to make this one really stand out !

Amazing spot to stay, beautiful new cabins. Wonderful host, and staff were friendly too. The accommodation was clean, and had everything we needed. Will be back in the future.

We are about 1-hour’s drive from Queenstown airport, just outside the picturesque town of Clyde, within the wine sub-region of Alexandra Basin and on the route of the Central Otago Rail Trail.
Close driving distance to vineyards, historical sites and hiking trails; a car is recommended unless arriving via cycle trail.
The nearest main grocery store, Countdown is in Alexandra which is a short drive away. There is a smaller store selling essentials in 12 minute cycling distance for those arriving via the cycle trail.
