Dit is de meest verschrikkelijke accommodatie waar ik ooit heb verbleven en ik kan weinig comfort aan. Als eerste staat de voordeur continu open en het slot lijkt geforceerd. Vermoedelijk is het pand gekraakt. De kamer bevindt zich immers op het gelijkvloers dus de doorloop van mensen stoort enorm. Als tweede corresponderen de foto's niet met de huidige staat van de kamer. Het bed is keihard en de handdoek is een vod uit een ander tijdperk. Hoe moeilijk kan het zijn om eens te investeren in een zachter matrasje en nieuwe handdoeken? Er is een ontzettende overlast van feestende jongerenbendes dus slapen is niet gelukt. En indien je er alsnog in slaagt, word je wakker met een ontstoken keel van de vochtplekken in de ruimte. Vermijden!

Enjoyed a short stay here, had everything that was needed. The color of the light was a bit blue-white which made it a bit less appealing but everything was clean and I can’t complain about anything else.

Antwerp is Belgium’s second largest city, has the biggest port and is the capital of coal. It has long been a powerful magnet for everyone from fashion moguls and club queens to art lovers and diamond dealers. In the mid-16th century it was one of Europe’s most important cities and home to baroque superstar painters like Pieter Paul Rubens. Despite many historical travails thereafter and severe WWII bombing, Antwerp retains an intriguing medieval heart with plenty of café-filled cobbled lanes, a riverside fortress and a truly impressive Cathedral. Today, however, Antwerp’s top drawcards are its vibrant fashion and entertainment scene, booming diamond businesses along with its startling architectural and cultural contrasts.
Tip: Do everything by foot. All of our apartments are on walking distance of the Central Station, The Old Town Cathedral and City Hall and The Meir Shopping street. Walking will always be quicker than public transportation.
If you don't want to walk we don't recommend taxis. Public transportation is always quicker.
Buy your tram or bus ticket in a point of pre-sale (newsagent’s, supermarket, the vending machines at the various stops or in the visitor centres of Visit Antwerp) or via app , where tickets are cheaper.
